What to do this weekend - October 2, 2025
As for me? I'm staying inside this Saturday.

Hi,
Welcome to This Week In Lincoln. It's a bit of a light week for events (or at least, events that I felt like including). I guess that's what happens when it's homecoming weekend. As usual, I'll be staying inside all Saturday, away from anything remotely footballish.
However: There are even more film listings in this newsletter than usual because we've hit October, which means the start of Fright Fest at the Ross Theater. It's also First Friday this weekend! Go out and see some art. And finally there are a ton of important things happening later this month and next, including No Kings 2.0 protests, an occupation of UNL's campus in support of Gaza, and Justice in Action's Community Problems Assembly.
I'm keeping this one short! But I've got some cool writing in the works that I'm excited to share, hopefully soon. Thanks for being here.
Got an event you want to see featured in next week's event roundup? Submit it here. You can also send feedback, suggestions, compliments, criticism and ideas for things I should write about to tynanstewart@proton.me
