What to do this weekend - January 15, 2026
A milestone for the newsletter!
Hi,
Welcome to This Week In Lincoln.
I don't know how interesting this kind of behind-the-scenes stuff is to most people, but I wanted to share that, as of Saturday, this newsletter officially hit 100 subscribers! That's kind of a cool milestone for something I started last year on whim and (to be completely real with you) without a strategy to build a readership besides badgering my friends to sign up. Thank you for being here and supporting this little project. (Now I need each of you to badger a friend into signing up so we can double that number.)
As always, I've got a roundup of stuff happening this weekend, next week, and later this year. Scroll down for that.
Also of note: Local online bookseller Revolving Books, which the Flatwater Free Press wrote about last year, is currently moving their inventory to a new space. Okay, so why should you care? Because they're currently running a 30% sale that applies to all books! Go buy yourself something fun.
Got an event you want to see featured in next week's event roundup? Submit it here. You can also send feedback, suggestions, compliments, criticism and ideas for things I should write about to tynanstewart@proton.me
