Not The Good Life: The entire news cycle about 'Billy Bob in fucking Red Cloud'
Dan Osborn's inability to recognize — nearly three years into his electoral career — that he's constantly being recorded, even during conversations he thinks are private, has generated a lot of headlines.
Mostly, these recordings have just been bait for right-wing clickfarms like Townhall or our local slop blog, the Plains-Sentinel. But the most recent audio clip circulated beyond the usual conservative media ecosystem. Probably because it was laundered by the Omaha World-Herald, which led to outlets like the Washington Post and CNN covering the story. (It also caught Twitch streamer Hasan Piker's attention, which in turn generated its own mini cycle of dumb discourse.)
